JRSOs

Our JRSOs for 2025-20264 are

Maisie, Angus, Jamie and Noah.

What have the JRSO’s been doing in Term 1?

The JRSO’s have been busy in term 1.

  • We have carried out a survey to find out which class would be awarded the Green Foot award. The winning class who travelled to school in the most Eco-friendly ways was Primary 6. Well done!
  • We have organised and delivered resources to all of the classes in the school and ELC for Walk to School Week in October.
  • Each class recorded how they walked to school for one week in October and then they will be awarded a sticker and pencil if they travelled to school in an Eco-friendly way on two or more occasions that week.
  • It was fun counting out the prizes for each class. We are looking forward to handing them out to each class.
  • We have taken part in a few Assemblies to introduce ourselves, explain what Walk to School Week is and how to Be Bright and Be Seen after the clocks changed at the end of October. With darker mornings and darker evenings we hope our messages will keep everyone at Kingsland safe on their travels to and from school.
  • This week we are launching our first JRSO competition. We are hoping that everyone will design a bright High Visibility vest. Prizes will be awarded to ELC, P1-P3 and P4-P7.
  • We hope that our competition reminds everyone to Be Bright, Be Seen and Be safe!
